Washing Day Fairy Garden Kit 

An awesome kit for imaginative play or display, what every little or big girl wants! 

Kit Includes;

 1 Wee Red Garden Fairy.

1 Handmade Fairy House (you choose, see pic) made of cement. Door is made of polymer clay and does not open, bead embellishment for a spy hole. Windows are made with glow in the dark clay and trimmed with copper wire. Roof is painted with gloss acrylic enamel suitable for outdoors. House is approximately 11cm tall (base to roof tip) and has a stake at the base to insert into the ground for easy stabilization. 

1 Bag of Rainbow pebbles. 

2 Lamps, the lamps are made with glow in the dark clay and wire with a plastic bead for the lamp cap. (note; metal head pin used through the clay will age over time.) 

1 Wishing Stone, make some special wishes. 

1 Washing line with clothes; clothes and pegs do not remove from line. Materials used may differ from photo but will be very similar.

1 Washing basket; handmade with clay, comes with two scraps of material

1 Key

2 Small red mushrooms; handmade with clay and copper stake

2 Medium red mushrooms; handmade with clay and copper stake 

1 Bag of Fairy Treasure, for Mum or Dad to add now and then to keep the fairy wonder alive. Random accessories. 

1 Pair of fairy shoes 

1 Slice of artificial lawn 14 x 9 cm; perfect for the instant green and to keep the pebble path in place.

Everything can be left outside in the weather. I've used outdoor paint on the roof, so is weather proof, however if you have some of those days that rain and rain, I suggest moving to undercover to prevent any chance of moisture coming up from under which may (very rarely) cause a bubble. 

How are they made? The house is made by casting cement into my own handmade moulds. Each piece is cast, sanded. The roof is painted with two coats of prep paint, then two or three coats of outdoor paint. Windows and doors are moulded with clay, baked and glued with polyurethane glue onto the house. Shouldn't be handled by young children, kits contain small parts. As these are hand made, pieces may differ slightly from the photo's. 

All bits and pieces are ready to go; fill a pot with flowers and insert your pieces or maybe you have the perfect spot already in your garden. 

About the glow in the dark; as with most glow in the dark pieces, they will need to be exposed to a strong light source first before they will glow brightly. A good way to do this is to shine a torch on the house and lamp for a minute or so.
